Mary + Jesse = Engaged!

Since there is still some snow out there, Mary and Jesse decided to take advantage of it and have their engagement session photographed at the beautiful Rice Park and surrounding area in St.Paul. Here are a few of my favorites from our wandering around. We ended it up at Meritage for some relaxing, hanging out images and a glass of wine.

Paula and Tim Knock it Out of the Park!

When my wonderful photographer friend, Carrie Riesgraf-Bruder asked me to help her with a wedding last fall, I was delighted to oblige. I was even more delighted when she told me Paula and Tim were getting married at Tiger Field in Belle Plaine, MN. Tim is a baseball coach and it was a homerun to have the ceremony on the field and the reception in a tent out in right field. Below are only a small portion of some of my favorites from the wedding day. I loved the brights in the bouquets and it was a fun idea to have the groom and his guys hit some balls in a wedding day batting practice. Enjoy!

Favorites!

This was always one of my favorites! The groom and his guys are hanging around and this little guy sees me with my camera and Bam! poses for me. He knows where the action is at! Classic candid moment and I loved it!

Published: SKY Magazine!

I meant to post this sooner. If you were flying Delta last month, you would have seen the L.A. Chinatown image I photographed for SKY Magazine in one of their features on LA's neighborhoods. I always enjoy getting to travel a bit and see some new (to me) neighborhoods in LA that I may have not gotten to before.

Bunting!

I love how Paula and Tim used bunting for a fun prop last fall! They also incorporated it into the decorating of their wedding reception. More photos coming soon!

MSP Magazine (March 2013)

The new issue of MSP Magazine is out! The March 2013 issue contains some images that I photographed last month at several different restaurants around Minneapolis. These below were a couple of my favorites: Pizzeria Lola and Cafe Levain. It was a fun, fabulous job and I got to taste some new dishes along the way!

Spring is on the way!

This image from Amie and Rob's wedding always reminds me of spring. They had a beautiful wedding in May over at the St. Paul College Club. I love this bouquet. The different shades of pink and those peonies remind me spring is on the way!

Best of Weddings 2013!

Wow! This just came in the mail. I'm super excited and completely honored to be chosen one of The Knot's Best of Weddings for 2013. This year, to be chosen, winners were required to have excellent ratings with the Better Business Bureau. In addition to that, Real Bride reviews were taken into consideration.
