I have a new website! Designed by Kim at Green Olive Design in Minneapolis. She did an awesome job and I couldn't be happier with the new format. Try it with your phones! Right now, the wedding section is not up. But you can view recent work here at my blog or you can go over to my old site, which will be up for a little longer.

Paris: SKY Magazine!

I was in Paris a couple of months ago and photographed a couple of neighborhoods for the current issue of SKY Magazine. There are a few images in the magazine which can be seen online and there are some extra images here.

What was so exciting about the assignment, is that even though I have been to Paris a couple of times before, I had never been to these neighborhoods on the east side. Read the article for some great places to see and eat at. Or just walk around and be a Parisian for a weekend or so.

Outdoor Engagement Sessions

Couples always ask me for some suggestions of places to go for Engagement sessions. The Mill City area with the Guthrie Theater is a great place. So many little nooks and spaces and beautiful buildings. I am posting a couple of picturres from Amber and Chad's engagement session there.

I'm sneeking out a peek of one of the images from the Pierrepont Hicks Spring 2011 Lookbook shoot. We photographed at the Electric Fetus with three local rockers. Pictured here is Michael Gray from Mercurial Rage and The Copperfield. The entire Lookbook goes live on Feb 15th!

Brittney + David = Married!

This wedding brings me back to the warm summer days. I love that there is somewhat of a vintage feel to this beautiful wedding. From the bowties to Brittney's veil. The little ringbearer could have been right out of 1967 with his crewcut. Enjoy some of my favorites.

Carly + Ev = Engagement

What a simply stunning time of the year to photograph stunning couples! I met Carly and Ev over at Fort Snelling Park late one afternoon. I've photographed many a wedding at the Fort Snelling Chapel, but have never been inside the historic fort. I knew as soon as I saw the costumes, that we would have to incorporate some of the volunteers into our session.

This was a fun shoot for Viking Magazine. Our model was simply stunning. (I can only hope to look this great when I am older.) Wow. As always, I loved working with SON, Viking Magazine and MSP Communications!
