Kids Fashion Portfolio

Every so often I put together a project to update my Children's Fashion Portfolio. These are images used to show to editors and designers and use on my online portfolio. I'd had the idea of photographing at Danish Teak Classics in Northeast Minneapolis for quite some time. Their showroom is gorgeous and the lighting is spectacular.

Holidays and Family Photography!

Now that most of the holiday cards have been sent out, I am sharing just a few of some of the wonderful family images I photographed this fall. I offered a mini session at the end of November and was delighted that a lot of my regular clients took advantage of this, but also a couple of my previous bridal couples. Dogs, babies, kids = Family Love!

AJ Preserves Fall

It's no surprise that AJ would want to "preserve fall". His mom is chef/owner at Tastebud Catering and co-owner at Kitchen in the Market. He knows what is good and he knows we should savor these beautiful fall days...

I have a new website! Designed by Kim at Green Olive Design in Minneapolis. She did an awesome job and I couldn't be happier with the new format. Try it with your phones! We (heart) Babies!

It's always so much fun to watch babies grow up. Reagan was at the studio when she was only 10 days old. Today she was back for her six month portraits. Reagan's grandmother is a fabulous knitter and made this hat for her. I think she looks rather regal. Only six months old and already looking forward to another Royal Wedding!

Do you know how hard it is to find a Walkman Cassette player?? I had a couple of ideas that I wanted to put together for a girl's fashion portfolio shoot. One involeved my old posters and a cassette walkman. Took me two weeks, but I finally found one.
Dee Dredge indulged me and brought her talent for hair and makeup. We had three girls. This was our first model. 8 years old and already a pro.

Alauna + Nate = Finley

Amazing what time will bring along. For those that are unfamiliar with the background: I used to babysit Alauna (many) years ago. Then we found each other by chance and I photographed her wedding three years ago. Now she and Nate have a bambino of their own! I finally got to meet Mr. Finley when I photographed the 50th Wedding Anniversary for Nate's grandparents. (Now, when are you bringing him back to visit me again??)
