Kids Fashion Portfolio
Every so often I put together a project to update my Children's Fashion Portfolio. These are images used to show to editors and designers and use on my online portfolio. I'd had the idea of photographing at Danish Teak Classics in Northeast Minneapolis for quite some time. Their showroom is gorgeous and the lighting is spectacular.

Robeez SS2013
Last year I photographed the 2013 Spring/Summer line for Robeez. We spent two days photographing adorable babies and toddlers in the cutest shoes! I then brought all the product back to the studio to photograph all of the shoes for the catalog. Go check out the Robeez website! They have some fun styles out for spring and summer!

Do you know how hard it is to find a Walkman Cassette player?? I had a couple of ideas that I wanted to put together for a girl's fashion portfolio shoot. One involeved my old posters and a cassette walkman. Took me two weeks, but I finally found one.
Dee Dredge indulged me and brought her talent for hair and makeup. We had three girls. This was our first model. 8 years old and already a pro.

Dutch Bridal Photo Shoot!
This photo shoot was an international collaboration. From Dutch fashion designer, Marloes Blaas, to a "Made in America" Men's Tie Company, Pierrepont Hicks, to a local vintage hairpiece designer, Dee Dredge. Our models, Jaleesa Koelen and Remco Verveer and hair & makeup artist Amanda van Dijk were out of this world fabulous. And it was all pulled together by stylist Malou de Bruin.

Great Bridesmaids Gifts!
I have a great suggestion for a gift for your bridesmaids. Something she can really use everyday and is going to fall in love with. 100% Natural beauty products from By Elizabeth Dehn! Elizabeth is a girl's best friend when it comes to writing about and testing products and letting us know what works and what doesn't. Her blog Beauty Bets is awesome.
She is having a launch party introducing her new products on May 12th! This will give you and opportunity to come in, have a glass of bubbly, and test the goods. I love the Serum!

SKY Magazine!
The new issue of SKY Magazine is out! Its focus for the issue is all things LA. I went out there to photograph three differnt neighborhoods and three different streets. You can view the magazine online or pick up your own free copy on any Delta flight during April. Below is a photo taken in Little Tokyo from the best Ramen Bowl restaurant that I have ever tasted.

Vintage Jewelry = Fab Bridal Accessories!
I Love,Love,Love Vintage Jewelry as accessories for brides or bridemaids. And now I have someone who hunts these finds down and can put them together in beautiful hairpieces or just by themselves. I took some of Dee's pieces out to Los Angeles with me last month and had a fun little shoot in Venice. We used a birdcage veil and two vintage jewel pins to add a fun accent to our vintage dress. The bouquet and boutonniere were made by Floral Art on Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice.

Pierrepont Hicks = Super Cool Ties
I wish my husband wore ties! I think the last time he had one on was in 1998. Bummer.
I had the opportunity a few weeks back to set up a photo session and photograph some of the new Fall line from Pierrepont Hicks. Talk about yummy bowties and neckties.

"Our ties are produced in New York, by master craftsmen, who practice traditional tie workmanship patterns. A tie can take sixteen steps to create. We feel it is important not to skip a single step. Our craftsmen have been producing ties, in New York, for over 70 years, and have an attention to detail that is unparalleled. Our ties will always be American-manufactured." -Pierrepont Hicks
