Lauri and Mike were married last Saturday! The weather completely co-operated with us. Lots of sunshine and mild temps. Perfect for outdoor pictures at Shir Tikvah
The flowers from Wisteria were spectacular! And I got pulled into the hora at the Internatinal Market Square! I have photographed many horas, but have never danced one!

Fashion

Do you know how hard it is to find a Walkman Cassette player?? I had a couple of ideas that I wanted to put together for a girl's fashion portfolio shoot. One involeved my old posters and a cassette walkman. Took me two weeks, but I finally found one.
Dee Dredge indulged me and brought her talent for hair and makeup. We had three girls. This was our first model. 8 years old and already a pro.

Maddie + Toby = Married!

It was a beautiful day for a wedding! Maddie and Toby were married in Spring Grove, MN at the same church where her grandfather was a pastor for so many years. She wore a dress by Vera Wang which complemented Toby's dress blues from the Airforce Academy. The reception was at Toby's family farm in Le Crescent, MN. Guests enjoyed popcorn, hayrides, sodapop from a Spring Grove maker, family recipe ginger cookies, and a scrumptious meal from Rooster Andy's. If that wasn't enough, they even had sparklers and fireworks. Hands down...one awesome wedding day!

I just wanted to share a few tasty images from a catered event that Molly Herrmann engineered. Molly owns Tastebud Catering and she is also co-owner of Minneapolis'own Kitchen in the Market. I never say no to taking pictures for Molly. I know that I will always get paid in cheese and wine and have a great time.
