Carrie + Sam = Married!

I really enjoy small wedding days! Just family and close friends and a hip location. Carrie and Sam were married in an intimate ceremony up in the Penthouse at Graves 601 Hotel in Minneapolis. They enjoyed a cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the swank Cosmos bar area before celebrating with dinner in the restaurant. Carrie's beautiful red rose bouquet complimented her classic and simple gown. Loved her shoes! Take a peek!

Vintage Jewelry = Fab Bridal Accessories!

I Love,Love,Love Vintage Jewelry as accessories for brides or bridemaids. And now I have someone who hunts these finds down and can put them together in beautiful hairpieces or just by themselves. I took some of Dee's pieces out to Los Angeles with me last month and had a fun little shoot in Venice. We used a birdcage veil and two vintage jewel pins to add a fun accent to our vintage dress. The bouquet and boutonniere were made by Floral Art on Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice.

Lime Green & Orange!

I wanted to post a few images from Jen and Dan's wedding to illustrate a great color combination. Lime Green and Orange! I loved how these colors just popped in the outdoor setting of their wedding. The bridesmaid dresses are from J Crew. Simple. Something that a gal can wear again. Orange ribbons tied to the ceremony chairs blew in the breeze. Green Bells of Ireland and a few pink Gerbera Daisies poked thru the bouquets. A perfect combination for a spring or summer wedding!

Cheryl + Matt = Think Spring!

Cheryl and Matt's wedding just makes me forget about the snow falling outside. The dapper hot pink and white striped ties on the guys, the fresh breezes on the North Shore, blue skies and fluffy white clouds, sailboats, wildflowers, Cheryl's Monique Lhuillier two-piece wedding gown, sandy beaches...
